Mohammad and his crew recently completed a renovation on our 1920's wood frame house in Brooklyn. The work done included removing the back of the house, replacing 3 windows, two doors, re-insulating and putting on new aluminum siding. They also completely re-did our back patio, laying down new cement and new wood stairs. Indoors they replaced our old pine floors on the first and second floors, as well as repainting the entire interior (all while most of our furniture remained in the house!) It was a fairly big job. In general, we highly recommend Mohammad and Shaara Contracting. The work they did was professional and of high quality. If something wasn't done correctly or we were unhappy with a result, they were more than happy to re-do the work. Honorable is the word that comes to mind... Mohammad was reliable, trustworthy and did exactly what he said he'd do at the price he'd quoted us, which we felt was entirely reasonable. He was also very responsive to our calls, texts, etc., always making himself available for a visit to the house, etc. We are quite pleased with how all the work turned out and recommend Mohammad and Shaara Contracting without reservation.

Shaara Contracting was very helpful with an urgent problem after a disastrous cheap repair attempt by a useless, vanishing handyman, my crumbling old front door was literally falling off the hinges so I needed it replaced ASAP. Within a week of calling Shaara I now have a beautiful new front door, it's nicely installed and working perfectly! Mohammad brought a hardworking, polite crew of three, supervised them closely, stayed late to finish and cleaned up responsibly. Overall I am very pleased with the results and would use them again. A few days later I noticed a very minor issue with the paint and the trim, I called him and he came right back to fix it!

Incredibly polite with our tenants and myself, sent us everything we asked for including pictures of business license and signed contracts. Sent us pictures of the finished project and kept on top of everything, and our tenant was so impressed they called and thanked us! Mohammad and his team significantly extended a pre-existing steel roof deck and relocated a roof access door. Mohammad was a pleasure to work with, reliable, responsive and pleasant. We needed a built-in cabinet for our living room and were looking for a capable carpenter who would offer high quality for a reasonable price. We found Shaara online and Mohammed Islam was extremely responsive. He immediately got in touch and was willing to come all the way from Brooklyn to the Bronx for a site visit. A week later, he had all the custom parts made and installed them beautifully with a carpenter in our living room. It took them longer than they had anticipated because of a few issues with the wall and the floor but they found solutions and worked hard throughout and we are very happy with the result. They offered by far the best price and took all our wishes and concerns into account. They were very pleasant to work with, friendly and efficient and we would warmly recommend them.
